The agenda for the October 19, 2006 (this Thursday) meeting is out, and this ordinance is not one of the items listed.

At the October 10 hearing, the county attorney recommended repeal of he ordinance, leaving state law to determine when carry is and is not appropriate in county parks (depending upon the presence of a "public gathering"). If you live in Forsyth County, now is the time to let your commissioner know your opinion on the subject.
