		<description>[...] The City of Woodstock bans the carry of firearms within city limits.  On Monday, June 18, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., the city council is meeting to discuss two ordinances, its band on the carry of firearms, and its ban on the carry of firearms in establishments licensed to sell alcohol.  Here is the meeting notice.  It is Item 6(C).  Please try to attend and show support for repealing these ordinances, both of which are preempted by state law, but be aware that as of right now GCO has not been granted permission to speak.  Here is the prior post on this subject after the preemption law was brought to the city&#8217;s attention by GCO member and Woodstock resident Ben Garner.
