Body Found Near County Park
As if we needed a reminder that violent criminals can be anywhere, even at a park, the AJC is reporting today that a murder victim was found shot to death outside of a local park in Clayton County.
The body found Wednesday near a Clayton County park has been identified as 18-year-old Raymond Sanchez.
Police said late Wednesday that they believe Sanchez was shot at a house in Forest Park and his body dumped adjacent to the park on Gilbert Road.
Clayton police Sgt. Rebecca Brown said a “significant amount of blood” was found inside a home on Old Jonesboro Road in Forest Park. Brown said investigators believe the teen was shot twice in the upper right chest at the house.
Sanchez’s body was found about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by an employee unlocking the gates at the secluded park near I-285 and Conley Road.
Clayton County bans all firearms in its county parks other than “authorized” firearms, whatever that means. Would law abiding park visitors who accidentally witness criminals ”dumping” a body be better served by being armed or disarmed?

Is this true, “Clayton County bans all firearms in its county parks other than “authorized” firearms, whatever that means.”? If so, is the county being sued by GCO??!!

Obviously the individuals who perpetrated the crime removed and secured any and all firearms prior to heading to the park as it is a gun free zone.
I personally will no longer patronize any business that feels they have a right to prevent me from defending my wife and family. This includes the Aquarium, Zoo, Braves stadium, parks that prevent carry and any store stupid enough to put up one of those “firearms not permitted” signs. The should just open the register and dump the cash on the ground and go in the back and wait to be raped. Criminals love those stores because they know any law abiding citizen will comply.
Isn’t it funny how the most staunch anti gun zealots have armed security details?
Democrats you know who you are!
