I also am not 100% sure about this bill actually being passed as of yet... But untill then I would rather be judged by twelve than carried by six. I would rather have one and not need it than need one and not have it. My father was a police officer who used his weapon in self defense, and I am glad he did. Those who even consider the fact that good people who follow the laws of nature and the laws of man are the ones you need to worry about bringing guns on Marta should wake up. I hope they never have to face the harsh reality...

According to the AJC, the Senate passed HB 89 late last night. It goes on to say that the bill now goes back to the House, implying that the Senate passed a modified version of the bill. The article doesn't mention what changes were made, however. Does anyone here know?

Unless you know something about this bill I don't, it hasn't come up for a vote in the Senate. We need to contact Lt.Gov. Casey Cagle, Senate Majority Leader Tommie Williams, and two Senators on the Conference Committee, Joseph Carter and Ronnie Chance to even get to a vote. Contact info is here: http://sammytaylor.net/?p=1186
