GCO Opposes MARTA’s Motion to Dismiss

In GCO’s federal lawsuit against MARTA for illegally detaining people carrying firearms in the MARTA system, MARTA filed a motion to dismiss the companion state law claims for failure to comply with Georgia Open Records Act requirements.  GCO has filed a brief in opposition to MARTA’s motion.  The documents may be viewed here.

    It’s not surprising that MARTA would rather waste thousands of $$$ fighting a loosing battle than simply comply with the law as written.
