Court Denies Paulding Reconsideration

The federal district court in Atlanta has denied GCO’s motion for reconsideration in the lawsuit against deputies who illegally arrested a GCO member for disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.  The court ruled earlier in the case that there was no probable cause to arrest GCO member Luke Woodard on either charge.  The denial of the motion effectively ends the case, with GCO having established the arrest was improper, but no damages being awarded.  The case documents may be viewed here.

So, even though the courts have decided that the arrest was illegal, the law abiding citizen who was protected by no less a law than the very Constitution of this country, has a “stain” on his record that will forever prevent him for carrying (owning?) a gun?

And people question why, in certain communities, the police are more feared than the criminals against whom they are sworn to protect them. Oficers of the Court skate free on a technicality while an innocent citizen is punished for adjusting his shirt so as to try and avoid drawing attention to the fact he was armed.

At what point do the American people lose all respect for law that is increasingly manipulated to serve as a bludgeon for advancement of an agenda in which fewer and fewer believe?

Everyone in this organization should read “The Communist Manifesto” and them ask himself or herself whether the method (even a bulleted list) proposed by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels sounds shockingly familiar. Do not be intimidated by those who dismiss an increasingly vocal majority who is becoming increasingly alarmed at an out of control government as “paranoid, aluminum foil hat wearing, racists.” For now, we still have a relatively intact first amendment even though a “diversity Czar” has been appointed to ram “balance” in news coverage down our throats.

Keep your eyes sharp , your ammunition dry and your weapons clean.

No, not at all. He is perfectly entitled to own and carry. He was only arrested — never charged with anything.

    Wake up “Deputy Dawgs!”
We are on your side! If you continue to press your communist tactics on citizens you will be all alone!
When the fire starts you are going to need us. Maybe you think you are “all powerful.”
I have news for you. You are a minority.
